Mexico Imposes Anti-Dumping Duties on Chinese Steel Screws, Ranging from 8.02% to 91.22%

On August 13, 2024, Mexico’s Ministry of Economy issued a final ruling on the anti-dumping investigation of steel screws from China. The decision imposes anti-dumping duties ranging from 8.02% to 91.22% on the products in question. Specifically, Jiaxing Chinafar Standard Parts, Co. Ltd. faces an 8.02% duty, while Haiyan Wandefu Precision Hardware, Co. Ltd., Lianyungang Xincheng Hardware, Co. Ltd., Jiaxing Longyu Machinery, Co. Ltd., and Zhejiang Junyue Standard Part, Co. Ltd. are subject to a 17% duty. Other exporters will face a 91.22% duty. The affected products are threaded steel screws with diameters of 6.4mm to 38.1mm and lengths of 152.4mm or more. This ruling takes effect the day after its publication.
