Pivotal Metals has reported high-grade mineralization in its follow-up drilling at the Horden Lake project in Quebec, Canada. Key mineralization findings include:
- 21.5 meters at a depth of 266 meters with a copper equivalent grade of 0.98%, including 7.2 meters with a copper equivalent grade of 1.56%.
- 17 meters at a depth of 203 meters with a copper equivalent grade of 0.58%, including 5.1 meters with a copper equivalent grade of 0.95%.
- 11.9 meters at a depth of 230 meters with a copper equivalent grade of 1.39%, including 7.8 meters with a copper grade of 2.1%.
Additionally, significant gold, silver, palladium, platinum, and cobalt mineralization was observed. Previous exploration primarily targeted copper, nickel, and platinum group metals, which were not typically sampled and analyzed.
These drilling depths are less than half of the previously delineated mineralized zone in the central part of the Horden Lake project. The project’s ore resource is estimated at 28 million tonnes with a copper equivalent grade of 1.5%.
